Acropora is a genus of small poly stony coral in the phylum cnidaria. Some of its species are known as table coral, elkhorn coral,and staghorn coral. Over 149 species are described. Most Acropora sp are brown or green, but a few brightly colores and many acro sp grow quickly, They require bright light, stable temperatures and regular addition of calcium and alkalinity supplements, and clean turbulent water.
