Unlike most other pike cichlids, the Regani pike cichlids are great community fish and safe for plants. With the exception of nano species like fancy shrimp, Regani pike cichlids will leave small fish alone. Caught in small streams in Brazil, the species is also unique becasue it likes to travel in packs. Regani pike cichlids only grow to four inches and eat flake foods, frozen foods, and cichlid pellets.
