The Red Feather Starfish needs very clean water and has a very high mortality rate in the aquarium, so please do not blame AFS if you lose this fish in a few weeks. Red Feather Starfish are exceptional and worth the effort if you are willing to keep a clean tank and figure the best method to provide protozoans and other matter for the starfish to filter from the water.
