Halfmoon Betta

These Halfmoon Bettas are prettiest freshwater fish you can put in your aquarium. This type of Betta features a variety of bright colors and a tail in the shape of a half moon. Though all show bettas come from the same species, breeders develop each variation for specific characteristics. A show betta will have some spacing between all its fins, a veil betta will have slightly larger fins and very little spacing, and a half moon betta will have closure when his fins are fully displayed, creating the "half moon" effect.

There are many names for the particular betta color patterns but most are variations of blue and/or red colors. Fish pictured here are representative only.
