Variatus feeders are small but a little larger than feeder guppies, and inexpensive fish to feed smaller predator fish or to grow out to become colorful little aquarium live bearers. The variatus is a cousin of the platy species, and it is difficult to tell them apart. Each pack comes with about 50 fish, give or take 5%. These feeders are hardy but do require an airstone and clean water. In general feeder fish can tolerate temperatures from the 60s to the low 80s.
