Featherfin Cichlid

The Fucifer Kigoma, or featherfin cichlid, has long trailing ventral fins and a blue body that makes this one of the most beautiful cichlids of the aquarium trade.  The long fin and blue colors do not show until this fish reached adult stage. From Lake Tanganyika, the threadfin fucifer feed on plankton and algae and in the aquarium will need some veggies in their flakes and pellets.
