Black Tiger Dario

Black Tiger Dario

The black tiger dario is a rare small freshwater species from ponds in Burma (Mayanmar) where they feed on tiny pond crustaceans and insects. Because of that some frozen food should be used to transition these beautiful little fish to pellet and flake foods. The black tiger dario are perfect for planted aquariums and nano tanks. Males have very deep rich colors and show more when in the presence of females. We try to ship an even number of both, as these fish tend to do better in small groups.

  • Scientific Name:  Badis Sp. Mayanmar
  • Origin:  Burma
  • Lifespan: 5 years
  • Max size: 1 inch
  • Food: frozen, flake
  • Shipping Size: Approx. 1/2 inch
